You are invited to attend the FIRST scheduled forum for the important offices of Boise City Mayor and City Council. We expect this election season to be an especially important one, with many heated races. This is your chance to meet the candidates, see what they're about, and ask the questions that matter most to you as a Boisean. Join us!

Hosted by the North End Neighborhood Association —co-hosted by fellow neighborhood associations, including East End NA, West Downtown NA, SouthEast NA, and North West NA. NEW ORDINANCE FLOATED TO INCREASE DENSITY ON CITY LOTS

CITY PLAN TO INCREASE DENSITY WITH "ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS"

the city of Boise solicited comments by Feb 8 for a zoning change that would allow garages and out-buildings to qualify for residential status. The city’s web page describing the plan is HERE.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

  • ELIMINATING OWNER OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENT

  • ELIMINATING ON-SITE PARKING REQUIREMENTS

  • INCREASING MAXIMUM STRUCTURE SIZE REQUIREMENTS

  • INCREASE ALLOWABLE BEDROOMS FROM 1 TO 2
